Seo Friendly URL’s
Is this a new SEO strategy..
I typed ‘search’ into google and I noticed live came up No 1. but it was not live.com it was search.live.com which re directs to live.com is this an seo strategy from Microsoft if so can we do this and does it work? Below is a link to what I saw

Search.yahoo.com is a subdomain under yahoo similar to Yahoo.com/search Why search.yahoo.com
All search engines are based on relevancy, ( Golden Rule)
Compare the two statements and see which is more Relevant to Rotapix.
a) Rotapix is an seo company
b) Seo is done at Rotapix My theory
1. The first statement A is more relevant to Rotapix hence its highly going to come on Rotapix search query.while second statement is more relevant to Seo.
2. Second theory is LSI, latent symantic Indexing There is what sometimes refered to Prominence (Seo 101) , where keyword comes first to indicate relevancy about a particular search.
However Seo is it more that just putting a keyword first in the domain. There are so many variables involved e.g site theme, Meta tags, content, even more powerful linking. Its Not just one thing its about getting a big picture.
3. Site theme
Subdomains can be a good way to break up your site into different related categories, which is similar to have a theme directory structure. eg yahoo.com/search
Seo is a creative craft, any ethical ways to show and prove relavancy to google, msn and yahoo will give good results
